    Con motivo del centenario del nacimiento de Rubén Darío, el artículo comenta el reciente homenaje realizado a este autor en Casa de Las Américas (Cuba), con la presencia de numerosos intelectuales latinoamericanos. En el trabajo se realiza una reseña a un libro de Darío, Los raros, comentando sus fortalezas y debilidades. En él se sostiene que, pese a la selección realizada por Darío, el texto es de corte irregular debido a la mezcla de autores que aparecen. Es un texto que no puede ser criticado negativamente, ya que no intenta establecer un canon, sino más bien pretende ser una muestra de los gustos personales del poeta.

    This article comments on the recent commemoration by the Casa de Las Américas (Cuba) of the one-hundred year celebration of the birth of Rubén Darío with the presence of numerous Latin American Intellectuals. In this work a review of the book Los raros is offered, with comments on its strengths and weaknesses. It is affirmed that in spite of the selection carried out by Darío, the quality of the text is uneven due to the mixture of authors that appear. It is a text that cannot be negatively criticized since it does not attempt to establish a cannon. On the other hand, it represents a sample of the personal tastes of the poet.
