  • Resumen
    • The article examines ivory Gothic mirror vignettes depicted in various literary and iconography sources in France from the 13th to the 15th century. The author describes the ivory vignettes' decorations and ornaments and discusses how they show various aspects of daily life and provide information about the context and social practices surrounding the production of mirrors. Topics include the vignettes' decorated scenes such as Tristan and Iseult, characters from a French Middle Age love poem, the theme of epic poems such as the one about the knight Huon de Bordeaux, and designs symbolizing love.
