Primeros datos sobre la distribución de grandes branquiópodos (Crustacea: Branchiopoda) en la Región de Murcia (SE España)

    En el presente trabajo se aportan los primeros datos sobre la distribución de varias especies de grandes branquiópodos (crustáceos de los órdenes Anostraca y Notostraca), en la Región de Murcia. Los muestreos se desarrollaron durante los años 2012 y 2103 en cuerpos de agua temporales pertenecientes a la tipología de charcas ganaderas. Se ha constatado la presencia de tres especies: los anostráceos Branchipus schaefferi y Streptocephalus torvicornis, y el notostráceo Triops cancriformis/simplex. La especie más ampliamente distribuida fue S. torvicornis.

    This study presents the first data about the distribution of large branchiopod species (crustaceans of the orders Anostraca and notostraca in the Region of Murcia. The records were obtained during 2012 and 2013 in temporal freshwater ponds belonging to the farm ponds typology. During the study period were detected three species: the anostracans Branchipus schaefferi and streptocephalus torvicornis, and the notostracan Triops cancriformis/simplex. The most widely distributed species was S. torvicornis
