  • The painting Le Christ à la colonne avec saint Pierre, Saint-Willibrord church, Gravelines, France, can unquestionably be attributed to Spanish painter Luis de Morales. The attribution is based on the painting's style and a comparison with other works by Morales. Nothing is known of its provenance before its donation to Saint-Willibrord church by the then mayor of Gravelines in 1828. The date of its execution is also difficult to determine.
