El presente artículo aborda el estudio de la economía de los obispos españoles durante el antiguo régimen. En primer lugar se analizan los conceptos que componen las rentas, se valora su importe y evolución, y también los gastos fijos. Y en segundo lugar se examinan las pensiones que gravan la renta para deducir la renta disponible por los obispos y su inversión

This article discusses the study of the economy of Spanish bishops during the Ancient Regime. First analyzes the concepts that make up the income, value their amount and evolution, and also the fixed costs. And secondly, examines the pensions that taxed the income to deduce the part available by the bishops and their investment.
