  • Resumen
    • The seaside resort of Le Touquet Paris-Plage, France, evolved over the years. At the end of the 1950s, the first motel ever installed in France was at Le Touquet Paris-Plage. This motel demonstrates the combination of the local architectural tradition with contemporary form and the tranquil assimilation of the American reference. At the same time, apartment houses with unassuming, well-crafted forms became widespread. This also had an influence on the style of private houses. New public programs concluded the remodeling of the resort: the European city with hotel experience, followed by a thalassotherapy center, and finally by a covered tropical aquatic pool.
