La cultura, el arte y el cine han inventado también toda una biodiversidad imaginaria con diferentes propósitos y significados. La monster movie es el género cinematográfico que mejor expresa esta biodiversidad imaginaria. Los usos y simbologías de esta clasificación desde la ficción son muy diversos. Debido a todo ello el cine ha inventado una muy compleja taxonomía ficción

«Imaginary Biodiversity in the Screen. From The Monster Movie Up To Fictional Taxonomy». Taxonomy is the field of biology that studies the classification of living things.
Culture, art and films have created a new imaginary biodiversity for different purposes and meanings. The monster movie is a film genre that best shows this imaginary biodiversity. The uses and symbolism of this classification from the point of view of fiction are very different.
For that reason movies have invented a very complex taxonomy fiction.
