La Historia como disciplina científica se ocupa de la memoria y la memoria es siempre del pasado. Analizando las tres concepciones del tiempo en Grecia podremos dar cuenta del manadero del que surge la disciplina.
Argumentaremos que ese manadero es el tiempo kairós del que beben otras disciplinas, en este caso menos científicas, como la retórica o la ética. Aión y chrónos se presentan como visiones totalizadoras, sea en su eterno retorno, sea en su avance numeral, las cuales en su cruce dan lugar al tiempo oportuno del que surge la Historia.

History, as a scientific discipline, deals with the memory and memory is always about last.
Analyzing the three conceptions of time in Greece we give an account for the origin of the discipline. We´ll argue that this origin is the kairos time which other disciplines arise, now less scientific, as the rhetoric or ethics. Aion and Chronos are presented as totalizing visions in both its eternal return as its infinite advance, which at its intersection result in the appropriate time arises the History.
