A concise presentation of pH-static titration is followed by examples of some electrolytic systems where this technique can be applied. The equilibrium analysis explains quantitatively all the processes involved. Some new possibilities of the method, for example, analyses of cyanide, arsenite, and two-component analysis, are presented. The analytical data were obtained from simulated quasistatic titrations made in complex mono- and two-phase systems. The sources of possible errors of pH-static titrations are also indicated.
