  • Resumen
    • In recent years, large organizations and even small ones, face significant situations: new trends in management, the use of technological tools, more advanced software, different marketing channels, among others, that have forced the owners/managers to change their direction. Taking as starting point the concepts presented with precision and accuracy, we decided to investigate some of the aspects that configure the perception of a manager to decide to adopt ICTs to management. The research was conducted during the months of June and July 2013 by means of a questionnaire. The factors are consistent with the model proposed in Leavitt's (1965), however the variables considered in each construct are different from the proposed model. In the context of the city of Rio Verde, Factor 1 (competitiveness) includes variables from the construct related to usefulness, with relation to the variables of Factor 2 (administration) the variables proposed in the model of Leavitt's (1965) are included.
