  • The article discusses the lack of credibility and the failure of U.S. efforts to improve women's rights to bring about real change. Topics covered include treating women as a solution for violent conflicts, key differences among women in the Muslim world, and the inconsistent position and exclusive approach of the U.S. to women's rights. Also mentioned are women's rights as a political strategy and highlighting the Islamic fundamentalist group Taliban's violation of women's rights.
