Resumen de Effects of cartoon and animation characters on the consumption habits ol children

  • The objective of this paper is to assess the cartoons effecting on cloth purchasing decisions of the 3-6 age-group child consumers, the characters they prefer on the cloth varieties and the techniques they wish to be created on the clothing. 3-6 age-group children cloth consumers being educated within the Konya borders constitute the universe of the study where descriptive research methods are used and 320 children, who are selected randomly among the preschools who approach the survey application positively, constitute the sampling. The necessary data is obtained through a survey form which is developed. The statistical analyses are carried out on the data, and the findings are given in the crosstabs taking the income levels of the families into consideration. The study is very important in terms of the fact that the children lead the cloth producers whose target group is the children and parents, and control their selections. At the end of the study, the cloth varieties on which are mainly current animation characters are seen to be selected among the preferred clothes
