  • The ethical principle of confidentiality is regarded as the core-stone of the psychologist-client relationship. This article attempts to describe the implications of some aspects of this ethical principle and its relationship with the legal concept of privileges communications. This discution is done in the context of the professional ethical codes and laws in force in Puerto Rico.
