This article arises from the dynamic transformation that is experimenting the consolidated group of academicians from the UAZ.CAC 129 "Research, Teaching and Music Performance with an emphasis on string instruments" in order to maintain and strengthen their commitment, while tends toward expansion, consolidation and more results in to the International Research Network "Art Music and Culture", which is increasingly revealed as more extensive, strong and productive.This group arises in the early years of this century on the initiative and will of a group of academics from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas that in addition to teaching and research have created a musical ensemble.
Since then, this group of academicians had been doing continuously, a congruent work whit the approaches of the LGAC'S grown, as well as in the teaching tasks and links with relevant schools, working together with the training and improvement of its members and artistic performances. The end result was the establishment of the said International Research Network "Art Music and Culture", involving other local, national and foreign groups of academicians, obtaining to this date collaborative remarkable results.
