• The term competitiveness can be defined in many ways depending on the context in which it is mentioned, for example (Ivancevich, JM, Lorenzi, P., Skinner, SJ and PB Crosby, 1997) define it as: "The extent to which a country under free competition, technological capacity and knowledge, is capable of producing satisfactions that can participate in international markets while maintaining and increasing the real income of the citizen. "The same author mentions that in this definition can be modified some words like: country by the organization and the term citizen by owner.
