    • Mexican companies are immersed in more competitive environment due to globalization and open markets in the world, so the Mexican manufacturing sector, despite being in a critical stage of growth, it must move decisively to be competitive, based on an approach of innovation and sustainable development. In many production sectors, companies operate under different models of collaboration, that is to say, join their complementary skills and capabilities, in order to get new competitive advantages and make them stand their individual capacities. The Mexican software industry is no exception. The objective of this research is to determine whether the formation of collaborative networks among Mexican companies influence the realization of practical innovation to reach a level of sustainable innovation over time.
