  • Research Works (Lefcovich, 2004) have obtained the result that small businesses are created ignoring that they have little chance of survival. As the experience that has had 50% of them fail in the first year of activities and not less than 90% before five years, within five years among the factors that have been identified that reveal the failure are lack of experience in the administration of the company, so the focus of this job is to answer the following research question: What are the economic and social factors affecting the failure of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MiPyMEs) in the Mixteca region of Oaxaca?The general objective of developing art history that allows the design of a causal model that includes the variables: poverty, marginalization, inequality and MiPyMEs, work responds to the hypothesis: The high levels of poverty, marginalization and inequality are economic factors and social impact on the failure of small businesses in the Mixteca region of Oaxaca state, slowing the development of the region.
