    • The investigation carried aimed to provide an analysis about the procedures using the teachers of public secondary Monclova Coahuila, to promote the teaching of values in their students. Participants were a total of 131 teachers of both sexes of seven randomly chosen public high schools, aged between 21 and 65. Through field research and descriptive information, it was found that there are deficiencies in: the elaboration of projects by teachers where students participate collaboratively to provide solutions to a specific problem in the community, the realization of projects through collegiate work supporting behaviors that promote peaceful coexistence and the project work integrates the school parents to improve values education students. In conclusion, each person must build his own scheme of values and the function of teachers is to collaboration with the process, developing situations in the environment so that students can experience and live the values.
