Resumen de Análisis del comportamiento de las variables de estado del vsc-hvdc con un esquema ptp cuando transfiere potencia activa entre sistemas de potencia asíncronos.

José García, Francisco Ortega, María González

  • In this research work is proposed an optimization model based on the formulation Optimal Power Flow (OPF), through which it is carried out an analysis of the behavior of the state variables of the Voltage Source Converted-High Voltage Direct Current(VSC-HVDC) when it is used to transfer active power between two electric power systems asynchronous. The model of VSC-HVDC device considering a Point-to-Point (PtP) scheme is implemented in an OPF formulation with active power transfer through the VSC-HVDC link as objective function. The analysis of the state variables of the controller is done using two case studies considering the IEEE two-area benchmark power system. In each study case it is considered a different resistance of the DC link and the maximum active power transferred between power systems is computed, in order to establish the operating range of the device in which the behavior of the state variables of the VSC-HVDC is studied.
