Currently the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are aware of the importance of information that are generated daily in the various departments that make up.
The Universidad Politecnica of Tapachula (UPTAP) opened in September 2011 and for almost 3 years of existence has been consolidated so that currently has an enrollment of 404 students. As the organization has grown also generated various problems related to academic and administrative processes; most of the information is collected, processed and stored manually causing delay in reporting and decision making.
It proposed the development of an Academic - Administrative Management System (SIGAA), in order to integrate academic and administrative processes, oriented to indicators 911 of the Ministry of Education and the process-based approach of ISO 9001:2008. This system will be developed in a web environment using Java EE (Enterprise Edition) platform, Primefaces library and data storage organization by managing system Oracle Edition One.
