Chagas disease is one of the most important endemic diseases in Latin America constituted one of the major public health problems today. This study aimed to determine the serological prevalence of Chagas disease in pregnant women attending the "San Antonio de los Sauces" Monteagudo hospital in the months of June and July 2010.
It is important to mention that currently several campaigns to prevent Chagas disease are performed in Bolivia.
