    • Toxoplasmosis is an infectious disease of humans and animals. It has universal distribution, whose etiologic agent is an intracellular parasite Toxoplasma gondii. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of toxoplasmosis in pregnant women between 15-45 years of age attending the second half of 2007 stood at Edward Hospital. The results showed a 18.03% prevalence of toxoplasmosis in pregnant both urban and rural areas and it is a warning as there is a high risk of infection to the fetus.
