The purpose of the present study is to detect the frequency of rheumatism in people attending the Internal Medicine considering age, sex and symptoms. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease, which causes joint inflammation mainly hands and feet, but can be detected by laboratory tests that detect the presence or absence of rheumatoid factor;Whenthis factor is found, preventive treatment to reduce its performance and annoying effects for patients is possible. The age at starting these joint disorders occurs mainly between 35-45 years of age, whereas the internal medicine service visiting patients older than 45 years. The contribution of this research is to determine the frequency of positive cases and their relationship to the medical diagnosis.
