La labor terapéutica: entre las narrativas y la intimidad

    Este ensayo presenta la narratividad como una construcción de la propia historia personal, y como una manera de construir, reconstruir y entregar la historia personal durante el proceso psicoterapéutico. Por otro lado, se aborda el concepto de intimidad, desde la propuesta teórica de José Luis Pardo, para proponer que no sólo se trabaja con las narrativas de la propia existencia, sino, además, con lo que escapa a ellas, con lo que no es alcanzado por la palabra, con lo íntimo. El abordaje de la intimidad es uno de los fundamentos del trabajo terapéutico.

    This paper presents the narrative process as a construction of the personal story, and as a technique for building, rebuilding and confiding this personal story in the psychotherapeutic process. The concept of intimacy is described using Jose Luis Pardo´s theoretical proposal which state that in the therapist not only works with the patient’s own narrative about their existence, but also with those elements that go beyond this narrative, and that have to be with the intimate. Approaching the intimate is one of the grounds of any therapeutic work.
