Una visión panorámica sobre los autores y obras citados revela que el panorama narrativo de la región ofrece un perfil similar al de otras comunidades, si bien presenta respecto al centro (Madrid y Barcelona, las ciudades de mayor actividad editorial) un claro desfase cronológico propio de las áreas periféricas, acrecentado por las difíciles circunstancias que la posguerra trajo consigo. Pero tal vez esa misma conciencia de marginalidad geográfica y cultural acentuó entre los escritores el deseo de situarse a la altura de su propio presente, de acceder a lo que por entonces se entendía por modernidad, de poner su literatura a la altura de las expectativas lectoras (compromiso, historicismo, pacto con la realidad, propósito de testimonio y denuncia�). Lo cierto es que para todas las corrientes narrativas que desde el final de la guerra se suceden a nivel nacional podemos encontrar, como hemos ido viendo, una representación regional.

But maybe that same awareness of geographical and cultural marginalization among writers emphasized the desire to be at the height of his own present, access to what was then understood by modernity, put your literature up to the readers expectations (commitment, historicism, covenant with reality, purpose of witnessing and reporting ...) . The truth is that for all the narrative strands that since the end of the war are happening nationally ( stories of the war, stark reality in the wake opened by Camilo José Cela , existential novel, social realism, metaphysical novel, travel book) we could find , as we have been seeing, a regional representation.
