El reiterado fracaso de la principal apuesta fiscal de Felipe II en las Cortes del último cuarto del siglo XVI no supuso la total desaparición del arbitrio de la harina de la escena política castellana. A lo largo de la primera mitad del siglo XVII volvió a oírse con insistencia la posibilidad de implantarlo, tanto dentro como fuera de las Cortes, para sustituir a las sisas sobre las cuatro especies. The reiterative failure of the first financial bet of Felipe II at the Parliament in the last quarter of XVI century was not involve the total disappear of the flour tax at the political scene in Castile. Over the first half of the XVII century returns to hear with insistence the possibility of implant it, inside and outside the Parliament, to replace the sisas on the four spices.
