Resumen de Luciérnagas bajo calaveras: lo fantástico en "Los demonios del lugar", de Ángel Olgoso

  Ángel Olgoso (Cúllar Vega, 1961) es un escritor granadino que desde la década de 70 ancla su producción literaria en los discursos breves. Con respecto a temáticas y estilo, percatamos en toda su obra una evidente predilección por la inserción de lo fantástico y por ambientes siniestros y escenarios extraños a lo cotidiano, jugando siempre con la indefinición y dilución de barreras que se suelen invocar cuando hablamos de la dicotomía existente entre realidad y ficción, realidad y sueño, realidad y fantasía. En este estudio proponemos un análisis a la forma como Olgoso incorpora lo fantástico en una de sus obras, Los demonios del lugar (2007), resaltando los mecanismos de integración de este género temático y su conexión con lo abyecto, lo absurdo y las estrategias y distintos niveles de transgresión que se atisban en particular en esta obra y, de forma general, en el matrimonio relato breve – lo fantástico.

  Ángel Olgoso (Cúllar Vega, 1961) is a Grenadine writer that anchors his literary production, since the 70’s, in short discourse. Concerning his fictional themes and style, a clear preference for the inclusion of the fantastic and the uncanny is visible in all his work, always playing with the uncertainty and dilution of barriers that are commonly invoked when we talk about the dichotomies between reality and fiction, reality and dream, reality and fantasy. In this study we propose an analysis of the way that Olgoso incorporates the fantastic in one of his works, Los demonios del lugar (2007), highlighting the mechanisms of integrating this genre and its connection with the abject, the absurd and the strategies and different levels of transgression that can be glimpsed in particular in this work and, in general, in the marriage of the short story and the fantastic.
