  • Resumen
    • In an era where learning autonomy is privileged, self-knowledge and the use of technology in education is promoted; search space is essential for the development of learning to learn. The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) promote freedom in learning by scaffolding and construction of knowledge from the cultural history of the individual, are the means to know and learn how to recognize the individuality of the educational process. Knowledge is ephemeral in the information society, everything changes at the speed of light; therefore, it is important to address the details of knowledge. It aims to investigate the importance and relevance of ICT to generate student metacognition as an embodiment in fullness of being. Through the rational use of ICT at school and an appropriate methodology is to do a feasibility study on school performance and, above all, for life. To the extent that the nature and need to understand metacognition may fulfill the pillars of education proposed by the UNESCO Commission.
