  • Resumen
    • This research was conducted in the laboratory of plants Biotecnology of the Technological University of the Huasteca Hidalguense, with the objective of evaluating various concentrations of plant growth regulators (2-4-D, BAP and IBA) to establish in vitro culture for the induction of callus, shoots and seedlings of Jatropha curcas. A design was completely randomized and the response variables were assessed by analysis of variance. For the induction of callus were used segments of young leaves, being the treatment T2 (AIB 0.1 mg/l BAP 0.1 mg/l), T4 (AIB 0.5 mg/l BAP 0.25 mg/l) and the T5 (AIB 0.25 mg/l 2,4-d 0.1 mg/l) had a 20% induction being the best treatments. For the induction of shoots were used stems with a knot being the T4 treatment with four outbreaks. To obtain plants were used embryos being the treatment T4 (AIB 0.25 mg/l BAP 0.5 mg/l) with the higher percentage of 90% germination, this same treatment showed plants with a greater diameter of stem of 0.47 cm, while the witness showed plants of greater height of 11.33 cm and length of leaves of 2.05 cm.
