This work focuses on the development and implementation of an experimental platform, which allows realizing data acquisition for measuring temperature, volumetric flow, pressure and level, as well as the application of two control systems commonly used in industry, namely On/Off Control and Proportional, Integral and Derivative Control (PID). The platform was developed in the Technological University of the North Region of Guerrero, wherein two equipments of the automation and control laboratory, such as steam electric generator and a water pump test-bench were adapted, instrumented and controlled. The control schemes were implemented on an acquisition and output data system, utilizing the National Instruments LabVIEW® 2011 version software, through a hardware/software interface between computer and process.
