  • This text describes the methodology and tools used to complete a project designed for Molino La Fama, S. A. The area of opportunity that was found was the need for a system tailored for the company�s online sales. The system allows the customer to place orders in real time, which reduces production times, product delivery, as well as, the process for billing and collection. Upon client�s (Molino La Fama, S. A.) approval, the solution that was selected was the one for Tablets. The following technologies were used: PHP programming language, Apache Web server, CSS, and Ajax, as they were the best alternative in regards to viability in technical implementation, easier development, and lower costs. The result is a system that allows the customer to place orders online, reducing time for product delivery to clients in 8 days. The system has been working for more than 2 years, generating 50,000 orders. Currently, other modules are being developed to increase functionality, and implementation is multiple platforms.
