  • This paper presents a synthesis of obtaining the dynamic model of the wind turbine is made. It is considered that the turbine is directly coupled to a permanent magnet synchronous generator. The dynamic model is obtained from aerodynamic and mechanical principles that determine the behavior of the turbine. We will show that the obtained model is nonlinear and serve as the basis for implementing a system that will emulate the dynamics of a wind turbine for experimentation.
