Resumen de Modelo Aproximado para el Cálculo de la Impedancia Interna por Unidad de Longitud de Conductores Cilíndricos Sólidos.

José García, Francisco Ortega, Juan Razón

  • This paper presents the development of an approximate model for calculating the internal impedance per unit length of solid cylindrical conductors. The exact model has a quotient that involves to Bessel functions and produces unstable results, which are often incorrect when the model is used in practical studies at high frequency, thus, the proposed approximate model is obtained from the exact model by asymptotic analysis of Bessel functions for large and small arguments, in order to consider the calculation of the internal impedance for high frequencies. The obtained approximate model is modified to include three constants that improve accuracy and reduce errors. The constants are calculated using the Taylor series expansion on the zero point. The reliability of the approximate model is demonstrated by a case study with the ACSR 636-MCM conductor (Grosbeak conductor) with a graph of the behavior of the internal impedance, obtained by the approximate and exact model, as function of the frequency and the percentage of relative error of the approximate model as function of electrical frequency.
