  • Resumen
    • The bioreactors are containers in which biochemical reactions can be performed, using microorganisms, enzymes, plant cells or animal cells. Its function is to provide a controlled environment to carry out the reactions in the best condition and thus transform substrates and synthesize products with high yields. In most commercial bioreactors, the control of parameters is carried out manually and the measurement of such data is not stored, the cost will increase with the increase of devices to control the parameters, for online data acquisition, their storage and graphing. In this work a system for measuring and controlling the operating parameters was developed as well as acquisition of online data, storage and graphing. The measured parameters were pH and temperature; the controlled parameters were pH and stirring speed. The transducers for these tasks were studied. The development of this system was less expensive than a commercial bioreactor and provides greater flexibility, for example the fed-batch culture can be performed.
