    Este estudio recopila los testimonios heráldicos que se conservan en la Comarca de La Litera, tanto de carácter municipal, gentilicios como religiosos, que existen en lugares accesibles y de fácil contemplación. Se pretende con ello formar un catálogo de estas piezas emblemáticas para facilitar su estudio y preservarlas de su destrucción y abandono. Forman este patrimonio heráldico un total de 119 escudos, repartidos en 17 localidades, de los cuales 57 son armas gentilicias, 38 armas municipales, 4 representan el escudo de Aragón, 4 son escudos provinciales, 2 el escudo del Estado, 6 son de carácter religioso y 8 se encuentran sin identificar.

    This study compiles the heraldic testimonies that are preserved in the Region of La Litera, both of a municipal nature, by people from the area, and religious, which exist in accessible places that are easy to contemplate. The aim is to make up a catalogue of these emblematic pieces to make it easier to study them and preserve them from destruction and abandonment. A total of 119 shields form this heraldic heritage, distributed into 17 towns, of which 57 are arms of the people of the area, 38 municipal arms, 4 represent the shield of Aragon, 4 are provincial shields, 2 the State shield, 6 have a religious nature and 8 are unidentified.
