  Nuestra relación con la enseñanza de la Arquitectura en la India, entre 2009 y 2014, ha fructificado en varias ac­ciones: La participación en el III Euro/ Indian Summit, la elaboración de la exposición “Discovering Ahmedabad”. Annals of Reinvention, la intervención en la “Ahmedabad Heritage Week”, la propuesta de “Proyecto de residencia para profesores y alumnos de Máster en Ahmedabad” y, como conclusión, el Programa europeo EuropeAid: “Cultural Heritage and Management Venture Lab” in Ahmedabad, India.En todas ellas, tuvimos conciencia de que hablar de Patrimonio, Restauración y Preservación es reflexionar sobre el sentido y la representación del Tiempo. Mientras que en Occidente el tiempo está ligado al movimiento (sucesión de un antes y un después diferentes) en Oriente, el tiempo se integra en el fluir de la naturaleza. Una reflexión sobre el tiempo como instrumento del proyecto desde dos puntos de vista que cree­mos complementarios o, en términos más ortodoxos, desde una lectura disciplinar, de conciliación de opuestos: Oriente versus Occidente.

  Our relationship with the teaching of Architecture in India, between 2009 and 2014, has borne several actions: partaking in the III Euro/Indian Summit; the setting up of the “Discovering Ahmedabad” Exhibition; Annals of Reinvention, the intervention in the Ahmedabad Heritage Week; the “Resi­dence hall for students and professors of the Master’s Degree Project in Ahmedabad” proposal and lastly, the European EuropeAid Program “Cultural Heritage and Management Venture Lab” in Ahmedabad, India.In all of them, we were aware of the fact that speaking of Heritage, Restoration and Preservation is to consider the meaning and the representation of Time. While in the West, time is linked to movement (a succession of different befores and afters), in the East, time blends in with the flow of nature. That is, a reflection on time as a project tool from two points of view which we consider complementary, or in more orthodox terms, from a disciplinary view of conciliation of opposites: the East versus the West
