O presente texto busca refletir a questão do aspecto cosmopolita das narrativas de transeuntes da fronteira entre o Brasil e o Paraguai, ressaltando que a afirmativa “aqui e lá são a mesma coisa”, presente em muitos dos depoimentos desses moradores, significa que esta região entre os dois países representa o espaço sem restrições para um grupo de transeuntes. Trata-se da linguagem do povo que transita e se vincula às tradições anteriores ao Estado Moderno. Nesse sentido, a recorrência aos pensadores do primeiro mundo para compreender os fenômenos mais cotidianos se evidencia como uma tradição acadêmica e nada mais. Mais interessante seria estabelecer ligações com as histórias dos antigos habitantes da região, uma vez que as falas estão permeadas por palavras e narrativas ancestrais.

The aim of this text is to reflect about the question of the cosmopolitan aspect of the narratives of crossers-over in the border between Brazil and Paraguay, pointing out that the affirmation “is the same thing here and there”, present in many of these inhabitants´ statements, means that this region between the two countries represents a space without restrictions for one group of crossers-over. It refers to the language of the people who transit and relate with the traditions before the Modern State. In this direction, the recurrence to the thinkers of the first world to understand the daily phenomena is evidenced as an academic tradition and nothing else. More interesting would be to establish links with the histories of the old inhabitants of the region, because their speeches are permeated by ancestral words and narratives.
