    The object, the almanac, has many uses and functions, and its intention here is related to the education of the individuals in their local modernity. Th e intention of this text is to explore the photographic reading universe that is shown in the São Carlos ALMANACH-ALBUM DE SÃO CARLOS 1916 - 1917, taking into account the"education of the senses", connecting the reader with the world progress dictations of the "Cafe Belle Epoque".
