• This paper shows the status of an Exploratory - Descriptive and Mixed Study. It takes place in the city of Puebla and aims to determine the mechanisms used by some private companies in the automotive sector to generate and transfer knowledge Additionally know what kind of mechanism are using so the knowledge generated might serve as a source of competitive advantage. This research project stems from the large number of automotive companies settled in the capital of Puebla, and the growing boom of the automotive sector, which seems to indicate that it has the necessary elements for Puebla is one of the entity of the Mexican Republic with high competitiveness.
