Resumen de Per Leonardo Corona disegnatore

Bert W. Meijer

  • Various painters active in Venice in the decades before and after 1600 are still little known as draughtsmen and for a long time reliable basis on which to reconstruct their catalogue of drawings was lacking. This is also true of Leonardo Corona (1542-1596), among others, since until now there have only been a few somewhat early ans scarcely reliable attributions made to him on the basis of his writings or similarities or presumed similarities to the style of his paintings. For the first time, this contribution presents some starting points that are not so uncertain and attempts to lay more reliable foundations for reconstructing the corpus of his drawings.
