EN EL ÁMBITO SANITARIO MUCHAS DE LAS TAREAS A DESEMPEÑAR EXIGEN LARGAS permanencias en pie o caminando, ya sea con cortos o largos desplazamientos. De hecho, hasta el 75 % de las horas de trabajo se realizan en bipedestación. En estas circunstancias, utilizar un calzado adecuado desde el punto de vista de la funcionalidad, prevención de la fatiga y el confort es especialmente importante, constituyendo un claro factor de salud laboral. Dada la falta de información sobre los problemas que presenta en la actualidad el calzado para personal sanitario y sobre los requisitos que debería cumplir desde el punto de vista de la biomecánica, las empresas ANALCO y CALANA, que comercializa la marca ROMU'S, han llevado a cabo un proyecto de investigación en colaboración con el IBV y cofinanciado por el IMPIVA con el fin de cubrir las lagunas de conocimiento existentes.

In the sanitary environment there are many tasks which demand long standing or walking periods, with short or long displacements. In fact, up to the 75% of the working hours imply standing. Using an adequate footwear in these circumstances is specially important in terms of functionality, prevention of tiredness and comfort, being a clear factor of occupational health. Considering the lack of information about the problems of the current footwear for medical staff and the biomechanical requirements that should be fulfilled by this type of footwear, the companies ANALCO and CALANA, seller of the brand ROMU'S, have carried out a research project in collaboration with the IBV, co-supported by IMPIVA, with the purpose of completing the extant knowledge gap.
