Trayectoria de los sistemas campesinos de cría en un área del Piedemonte de Alcalá, Valle del Cauca.

En el municipio de Alcalá, cuenca río La Vieja, norte del Valle, se reconstruyeron las trayectorias de sistemas de cría en seis fincas de campesinos, entre 1960 y 2002, y se analizó el funcionamiento de dos de ellas.
La metodología analizó los elementos de los sistemas de cría, familia explotación, estructura, organización e interacciones. Se describieron los subsistemas apoyándose en la entrevista y la observación de los modos de operación de cada agricultor. Esto permitió definir la interacción de los componentes del sistema, proceso de cambio y determinar la influencia de los cambios tecnológicos en la diversidad animal.

In Alcalá, river of La Vieja, north of Valle (Department), trajectories of the breeding systems were reconstructed in six farm properties owned by peasants, in the time period between 1960 and 2002, a detailed analysis of two the farms was carried out.
The methodology analyzed the elements that compose the breeding systems, family exploitation, structures, organization and the interactions of the farm with the environment. The subsystems were described based on interviews and observations of the functional ways that each farmer has with his family and with his productive process. This allowed the definition of interacting components of the system, the process of change and to determine the influence of technological changes on the diversity of domestic farm animals.
