Resumen de Televisión y Autonomía: los primeros programas del Centro Territorial de TVE en Castilla y León (1983-1986)

  El Centro Territorial de RTVE en Castilla y León y la misma Comunidad Autónoma, nacieron prácticamente al mismo tiempo, en febrero de 1983. La televisión regional, en sus primeros años, se convirtió en una herramienta de comunicación que sirvió para vertebrar la novedosa realidad territorial de Castilla y León. La programación cumplió dos funciones básicas. Una función divulgativa, que recaía principalmente en los informativos y programas de debate, que permitió dar a conocer la nueva estructura administrativa y sus protagonistas políticos. La segunda función, de fortalecimiento de la identidad regional a través de la cultura, las costumbres y las tradiciones comunes quedó reflejada en programas específicos y en los magazines.

  Castilla y Leon center of public Spanish television, RTVE, and the selfsame regional institutions wereborn at the same time, in February 1983. The regional television, in his first years, turned into a tool ofcommunication that served for build the new territorial reality of Castilla y León. The programming fulfilled two basic functions. A informative function, which was relapsing principally into the news bulletinsand programs of debate, which allowed to announce the new administrative structure and his political protagonists. The second function, of strengthening of the regional identity across the culture, the customsand the common traditions reflected in the magazines.
