Este trabajo estudia los orígenes y el desarrollo de los discursos letrados sobre los bienes eclesiásticos entre los siglos XII y XVI. Generados en el marco de los procesos reformistas que se producen en la Iglesia durante este arco de tiempo, estos discursos acabaron conformando las mentalidades sociales sobre el clérigo ideal y su relación con los bienes materiales.

This article studies the origins and development of the highbrow literature about the ecclesiastical properties between the Twelveth and the Sixteenth Centuries in Europe. These texts were created by the ecclesiastical reformist process during this age and originated the opinions and social mentalities about the ideal clergyman and his relationship with the wealth.
