  A nivel mundial, las últimas tres décadas han sido caracterizadas por dos grandes tendencias: el tránsito hacia economías abiertas y globalizadas y el cambio en el papel económico del Estado, generando impacto sobre el mercado de trabajo como: el ajuste de la economía en el corto plazo y las políticas laborales, fortaleciendo la relación entre mano de obra y competitividad organizacional.

  Este artículo se basa en la investigación donde se identificaron los tipos de contratación vigentes en el sector industrial de Pereira y Dosquebradas que permitieron visualizar las ventajas y desventajas para el empleador y el trabajador.

  At world-wide level, last the three decades have been characterized by two great tendencies: the transit towards economies open and international and the change in the economic paper of the State, generating impact on the market of work like: the adjustment of the economy in the short term and the labor policies, fortifying the relation between manual labor and enterprise competitiveness.

  This article is based on the investigation where the effective types of hiring in the industrial sector of Pereira and Dosquebradas were identified which they allowed to visualize the advantages and disadvantages for the employer and the employee.
