Se estandarizó un método por cromatografía líquida de alta eficiencia, HPLC, para determinar simultáneamente la concentración de las flavanonas: naringina, hesperidina, naringenina y hesperetina, en los jugos de las variedades más representativas de mandarina, naranja, toronja, limón y lima, cultivadas en Santander. Las mayores concentraciones de naringina, hesperidina y naringenina, se encuentran en los jugos de toronja, mandarina y lima, respectivamente, y en ninguno de los jugos se detecta la hesperetina.

A method by high performance liquid chromatography, HPLC, was standardized for to determine simultaneously the concentration of the flavanones: naringin, hesperidin, naringenin and hesperetin, in the juices of the most representatives varieties of mandarin, orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime, cultivated in Santander. The highest concentration of naringin, hesperidin and naringenin, are found in the juices of grapefruit, mandarin and lime, respectively, and none of the juices analyzed contain hesperetin.
