  • The article discusses agricultural protectionism in the U.S. Topics discussed by the author include the farm bill which signed into law by the U.S. President Barack Obama on February 7, 2014, the impact of protectionism on developing countries, particularly to the economy, and the benefits acquired by developing nations from trade liberalization and from the removal of agricultural protections.
