The objective of this work has been to know whether the information offered by community pharmacists is based on scientific evidence and whether the relationship benefit/risk of prescribed medication is adequately evaluated. For that matter, students majored in pharmacy conduct simulated interviews in which a woman under antibiotic treatment comes to a community pharmacy and requests information about the possible risks. The evaluation was made by whoever was assisted and based on the received information. The patient was assisted by the pharmacy staff in 86.2% of instances. 96.6% of those who responded did not consult any kind of bibliography. From the obtained responses, 67.2% were incorrect. The results of this work were analyzed afterwards with the students
