  This study analyses the distribution of the multiplier effect of production caused by the variation of final sector demand. Also, itestimates the overflowing effect of production and employment for 26 sectors in the year 1999 included in the input-output interregional system formed by the States of Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul (the Southern Region) and Rest of Brazil. The results of the distribution of the multiplier effectof production and employment show the greatest values concentrated in the flow direction Southern Region - Rest of Brazil

  O objetivo do estudo é analisar a distribuiçãodo efeito multiplicador de produção causado pela variação da demanda final setorial e estimar o efeito transbordamento da geraçãode produção e emprego do sistema interregional de insumo-produto composto pelas regiões Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul e Restante do Brasil, estruturado em 26setores, para o ano de 1999. Os resultados da distribuição do efeito multiplicador de produção e emprego mostraram que os maiores valores concentraram-se no sentido Região Sul– Restante do Brasil.
