  • Resumen
    • This is a review of all antiparasitic drugs, by studying their principal indication and their means of acquisition. The purpose of this review is to develop an updated working protocol for the adequate use of these drugs in their corresponding indications and the means of acquiring them. It has been observed that more than 50% of these drugs come from abroad and from these, the majority needs the A2 and A3 protocols from the Health and Consumer Affairs Ministry for their obtaining. A lower percentage of them need to undergo some formalities because of their off-label use. Due to the fact that many of the existing parasitic diseases are little frequent in Spain, but we find an increasing number of cases, the quick intervention by the pharmacist in the acquisition of such drugs implies that the patient will receive the safest and most efficient treatment and at the necessary moment
